Russian Extreme is a growing sports/entertainment TV channel with a unique audience. It became the first TV channel in Russia completely devoted to extreme sports. Stars of Russian show business and world famous extreme sports stars take part in Russian Extreme programs.
The channel is dedicated primarily to coverage of major Russian and international sports events (such as World Championships, World Cups and the most significant national competitions) and the accomplishments of Russian sportsmen and extreme sports stars. The channel broadcasts 24/7 across European Russia, former USSR republics, Northern and Eastern Europe.
Apart from broadcasting, the channel produces its own content One of Russian Extreme titles, “V poiskah prikljuchenii” (Looking for adventures”) is broadcasted on the federal TV Channel “Rossija” and is popular nationwide. Among the company’s other activities is hosting of various sports events.
Since Finam’s investment, the channel has managed to quadruple its audience, entered the top-20 among thematic channels and achieved second place among sports channels by monthly reach.
