Delta Telecom develops the DeltaPay payment system, one of the leading systems on the payment market. The company was started in 1995 as a paging company. Development in Russia gave grounds for further cooperation with the largest mobile operators, and resulted in the creation of the DeltaPay system in 2004.
For end-users, DeltaPay offers payment for utilities, mobile services, Pay-TV, Internet, and other services. For its partners, DeltaPay offers stability, a friendly interface, flexible settlement schemes and affordable equipment.
Currently DeltaPay is a system with turnover of about $1bn. from 230 m transactions.(as of 2008 results) and growing: in 1Q2009 the average monthly turnover growth rate was as high as 10%. The bulk of payments made through the System are payments for mobiles, however Delta Telecom is working to shift this ratio: the share of other payments exceeded 10% in 2009.The system numbers over 15 000 active payment terminals.
The Company has headquarters in Moscow and has offices in 7 other Russian regions.
