Badoo is one of the recent investments of Finam Technology Fund, I. The project was launched in November 2006 in London and by the time of investment had already achieved leading positions in Europe and some Latin American countries: the site already had over 12 m registered users.
The purchase of a stake in this social network portal by Finam – Information Technologies was the first step towards promoting this project on the Russian market. Today Badoo encompasses over 40 m registered users, and the number is growing exponentially. Its daily reach dynamics outperform that of many of renowned social networking websites.
